Ask Members to oppose efforts to eliminate agencies, fire federal workers or coerce them to quit, or other actions creating a toxic workplace
Ask Members to support a professional, nonpartisan civil serice with robust collective bargaining and due process rights to prevent politicization of the civil service and to protect whistleblowers
Ask Members to support the Saving the Civil Service Act, which would prevent the president from establishing a Schedule F or Schedule Policy/Career scheme
Ask Members to oppose anti-worker proposals seeking to eliminate or weaken collective bargaining rights for federal workers, impede the ability of unions to operate, or that fail to protect workers from arbitrary or unfair job actions

Chapter 116 President Santiago Valdez alongside the four SW Border President's attended the first ever SW Border LMRC with National President Greenwald, NTEU Chief Negotiator Ryan Soon, and EAC Sabatino. Issues discussed included proposed K9 take-home program, issues with the limit line, grievances, retention and staffing.
